Edgars is delighted to welcome two new full time members to the team.

Amy Powell joins us after 8 years working at Breckon & Breckon in Headington, Oxford where she held the position of Senior Lettings Negotiator before becoming Lettings Manager in 2014. During her time there, she was nominated for Letting Manger of the Year in 2017 and oversaw the Headington branch awarded ‘exception’ status by the Estate Agent Guide in 2018 and 2019.

“After eight years of commercial experience in estate agency I am excited to build on my local market knowledge and develop my career in property in a more creative direction. Returning to education was a key part of my career change and the RTPI Trailblazer course, supported by Edgars is a fantastic opportunity to complete my master’s degree whilst being supported by such an ambitious company. I was particularly inspired with Edgars from my first meeting with Jayne and Jon; their care and commitment to their profession and clients was absolutely clear and at the forefront of everything they do.”

With her career change, she will undertake an MA Chartered Town Planner (Degree) Apprenticeship at London South Bank University. Out of the office, she has recently taken up furniture restoration and loves photography.

Joe Brown has recently graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Geography from Portsmouth University. He has been working part time at Edgars since 2015 after leaving school and it’s great to welcome him to the business full time. He will be starting an MA Chartered Town Planner (Degree) Apprenticeship at London South Bank University later this month. Outside the office you can find him on the golf course or following Chelsea FC.
