Having graduated from the University of Southampton with a degree in Geography she went on to complete the RTPI’s apprenticeship and gained a distinction in her Master’s degree in Chartered Town Planning at London South Bank University. In 2022, she became a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and was awarded the RTPI’s Southeast Young Planner of the Year award.
Amy has excellent project management skills and an enthusiasm for client care and so is extremely well placed to direct and manage projects. She provides planning consultancy services to a wide range of clients, managing planning applications, listed building consents, feasibility reports and public participation in events. Amy’s passion for sustainability shines through her projects, and she has been instrumental alongside colleague Paul Slater in formulating planning policy for net zero buildings and supporting local planning authorities at examination.
Amy is a keen advocate of the RTPI’s apprenticeship and champions this route into our profession, as well as supporting our graduates in their professional learning and experience and RTPI accreditation.
