Originally from Beijing, Hua completed her Bachelor’s degree in China before moving to the UK for her Master’s degree in Urban Design and Planning at the University of Sheffield. In September 2025, Hua became a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Over the years with Edgars, Hua has developed her knowledge, skills and behaviours required for a professional planner. She works autonomously and manages small and medium projects whilst supporting senior colleagues on larger and complex schemes within a multidisciplinary team. Hua has experience typically related to residential, educational, agricultural, and commercial sectors, providing professional planning consultancy services to a variety of planning applications including pre-application enquiry, full / outline / householder planning application, listed building consent, prior approval, lawful development certificate, Section 73, and discharge of conditions application.
