Sam joined Edgars in September 2018.  He went on to complete his Chartered Town Planner Apprenticeship, where he achieved a Post-Graduate Diploma with merit from London South Bank University in July 2024 and became a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in February 2025.

Sam has experience in a range of sectors, in particular commercial and heritage sensitive sites, and has assisted clients with planning feasibility appraisals, planning applications, planning appeals, local plan representations and instructing Counsel.  He has a particular interested in Permitted Development and closely follows emerging changes in legislation to identify opportunities for clients.
