Promotion: Amy Powell, Principal Planner

Amy Powell, Senior Planner
05th April 2023

In recognition of the quality of her work over the last 12 months, we are thrilled to share that we’ve promoted Amy Powell from senior planner to principal planner.

Amy joined us in the autumn of 2019, having managed an independent lettings office in Oxford for eight years. After a career change at the age of 30, Amy started a Royal Town Planning Institute apprenticeship degree with our support.

Last year, Amy completed her apprenticeship and gained a distinction in her Master’s degree in Chartered Town Planning at London South Bank University. Following this, she was elected as a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and went on to win the ‘RTPI South East Young Planner of the Year 2022’.

In this new role, Amy will now take the lead on larger projects and continue to deliver quality results for our clients.

Jayne Norris, Director at Edgars commented:

“It’s been an honour to watch Amy progress in her career at Edgars. This promotion is well-deserved and a reflection of her dedication to client projects,  the profession and living our mission to deliver inspiring futures and places”.

Congratulations, Amy!
